William Henry Keeler

Willie Keeler was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 75.5 percent of the vote that year. Willie was a Rightfielder who played in the majors for 19 years playing in 2,123 games. He batted 8,591 times from the left side with 2,932 hits, 33 home runs, 810 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .341. He was born on March 3, 1872 in Brooklyn, NY. His nickname was "Wee Willie." Willie went to his Field of Dreams on January 1, 1923.
