Wilbert Robinson was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945 as a Manager by the Old Timers. Wilbert was a Catcher who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,371 games. He batted 5,075 times from the right side with 1,388 hits, 18 home runs, 722 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .273. He was born on June 29, 1864 in Bolton, MA. His nickname was "Uncle Robbie." Wilbert went to his Field of Dreams on August 8, 1934.
