Whitey Herzog was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010 as a Manager by the Veteran's Committee. Whitey was a Outfielder, Pinch Hitter and First Baseman who played in the majors for 8 years playing in 634 games. He batted 1,614 times from the left side with 414 hits, 25 home runs, 172 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .257. He was born on November 9, 1931 in New Athens, IL.
