Anthony Michael Lazzeri

Tony Lazzeri was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Tony was a Second Baseman, Third Baseman and Shortstop who played in the majors for 14 years playing in 1,740 games. He batted 6,297 times from the right side with 1,840 hits, 178 home runs, 1,194 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .292. He was born on December 6, 1903 in San Francisco, CA. His nickname was "Poosh 'Em Up Tony." Tony went to his Field of Dreams on August 6, 1946.
