Tony Gwynn was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 97.6 percent of the vote that year. Tony was a Rightfielder who played in the majors for 20 years playing in 2,440 games for the San Diego Padres. He batted 9,288 times from the left side with 3,141 hits, 135 home runs, 1,138 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .338. He was born on May 9, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA. His nickname was "Mr. Padre or Captain Video." Tony went to his Field of Dreams on June 16, 2014.
