Timothy John Keefe

Tim Keefe was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Tim was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 14 years playing in 618 games. Tim pitched right-handed in 600 games totalling 5,049 innings with 2,564 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 2.63. He batted 2,083 times from the right side with 390 hits, 12 home runs, 134 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .187. He was born on January 1, 1857 in Cambridge, MA. His nickname was "Smiling Tim or Sir Timothy." Tim went to his Field of Dreams on April 23, 1933.
