Sid Abel
Sid Abel was inducted as a Player into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1969. As a lefthanded shot, he played Center in 612 games over 15 years scoring 188 goals and assisting on 284 others. Sid was born on February 22, 1918 in Melville, Saskatchewan. Sadly, Sid went to the Eternal Ice Hall on February 7, 2000.
