Ryne Dee Sandberg

Ryne Sandberg was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 76.2 percent of the vote that year. Ryne was a Second Baseman and Third Baseman who played in the majors for 16 years playing in 2,164 games for the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies. He batted 8,385 times from the right side with 2,386 hits, 282 home runs, 1,061 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .285. He was born on September 18, 1959 in Spokane, WA. His nickname is "Ryno or Kid Natural."
