George Edward Waddell
Rube Waddell was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946 as a Player by the Old Timers. Rube was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 13 years playing in 410 games. Rube pitched left-handed in 407 games totalling 2,961 innings with 2,316 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 2.16. He batted 1,066 times from the right side with 172 hits, 4 home runs, 83 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .161. He was born on October 13, 1876 in Bradford, PA. His nickname was "Rube." Rube went to his Field of Dreams on April 1, 1914.
