Roger Philip Bresnahan

Roger Bresnahan was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945 as a Player by the Old Timers. Roger was a Catcher and Centerfielder who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,446 games. Roger pitched right-handed in 9 games totalling 50 innings with 15 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.93. He batted 4,481 times from the right side with 1,252 hits, 26 home runs, 530 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .279. He was born on June 11, 1879 in Toledo, OH. His nickname was "The Duke Of Tralee." Roger went to his Field of Dreams on December 4, 1944.
