Robin R. Yount

Robin Yount was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 77.5 percent of the vote that year. Robin was a Shortstop and Centerfielder who played in the majors for 20 years playing in 2,856 games for the Milwaukee Brewers. He batted 11,008 times from the right side with 3,142 hits, 251 home runs, 1,406 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .285. He was born on September 16, 1955 in Danville, IL. His nickname is "The Kid."

I would credit Robin Yount with making Milwaukee baseball relevant again. He was the epitome of Brewer baseball, never flashy, always a hard worker.
