Roberto (Walker) Clemente

Roberto Clemente was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973 as a Player by the Special Election. Roberto was a Rightfielder who played in the majors for 18 years playing in 2,433 games for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He batted 9,454 times from the right side with 3,000 hits, 240 home runs, 1,305 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .317. He was born on August 18, 1934 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. His nickname was "Arriba or The Great One." Roberto went to his Field of Dreams on December 31, 1972.
