Roberto (Velazquez) Alomar
Roberto Alomar was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 90.0 percent of the vote that year. Roberto was a Second Baseman who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 2,379 games. He batted 9,073 times as a switch hitter with 2,724 hits, 210 home runs, 1,134 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .300. He was born on February 5, 1968 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
