Richard Benjamin Ferrell

Rick Ferrell was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Rick was a Catcher who played in the majors for 18 years playing in 1,884 games. He batted 6,028 times from the right side with 1,692 hits, 28 home runs, 734 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .281. He was born on October 12, 1905 in Durham, NC. Rick went to his Field of Dreams on July 27, 1995.
