Paul Molitor was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 85.2 percent of the vote that year. Paul was a Designated Hitter, Third Baseman and Second Baseman who played in the majors for 21 years playing in 2,683 games. He batted 10,835 times from the right side with 3,319 hits, 234 home runs, 1,307 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .306. He was born on August 22, 1956 in St. Paul, MN. His nickname is "The Ignitor."
