Louis Boudreau
Lou Boudreau was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 77.3 percent of the vote that year. Lou was a Shortstop who played in the majors for 15 years playing in 1,646 games for the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians. He batted 6,029 times from the right side with 1,779 hits, 68 home runs, 789 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .295. He was born on July 17, 1917 in Harvey, IL. His nickname was "Old Shufflefoot, Handsome Lou or The Good Kid." Lou went to his Field of Dreams on August 10, 2001.
