Leo Ernest Durocher

Leo Durocher was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994 as a Manager by the Veteran's Committee. Leo was a Shortstop and Second Baseman who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,637 games. He batted 5,350 times from the right side with 1,320 hits, 24 home runs, 567 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .247. He was born on July 27, 1905 in West Springfield, MA. His nickname was "Leo The Lip." Leo went to his Field of Dreams on October 7, 1991.
