Kirby Puckett

Kirby Puckett was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 82.1 percent of the vote that year. Kirby was a Centerfielder who played in the majors for 12 years playing in 1,783 games for the Minnesota Twins. He batted 7,244 times from the right side with 2,304 hits, 207 home runs, 1,085 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .318. He was born on March 14, 1960 in Chicago, IL. His nickname was "Puck." Kirby went to his Field of Dreams on March 6, 2006.
