John Andrew Smoltz
John Smoltz was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 82.9 percent of the vote that year. John was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 21 years playing in 735 games. John pitched right-handed in 723 games totalling 3,473 innings with 3,084 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.33. He batted 948 times from the right side with 151 hits, 5 home runs, 61 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .159. He was born on May 15, 1967 in Detroit, MI. His nickname is "Smoltzie."
