Joe Medwick was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1968 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 84.8 percent of the vote that year. Joe was a Leftfielder who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,984 games. He batted 7,635 times from the right side with 2,471 hits, 205 home runs, 1,383 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .324. He was born on November 24, 1911 in Carteret, NJ. His nickname was "Ducky or Muscles." Joe went to his Field of Dreams on March 21, 1975.
