Joseph Jerome McGinnity

Joe McGinnity was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946 as a Player by the Old Timers. Joe was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 10 years playing in 477 games. Joe pitched right-handed in 465 games totalling 3,441 innings with 1,068 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 2.66. He batted 1,297 times from the right side with 251 hits, 0 home runs, 90 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .194. He was born on March 20, 1871 in Cornwall, IL. His nickname was "Iron Man." Joe went to his Field of Dreams on November 14, 1929.
