Jimmy Collins was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945 as a Player by the Old Timers. Jimmy was a Third Baseman who played in the majors for 14 years playing in 1,725 games. He batted 6,795 times from the right side with 1,999 hits, 65 home runs, 983 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .294. He was born on January 16, 1870 in Buffalo, NY. Jimmy went to his Field of Dreams on March 6, 1943.
