James Howard Thome
Jim Thome was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 89.8 percent of the vote that year. Jim was a First Baseman, Designated Hitter and Third Baseman who played in the majors for 22 years playing in 2,543 games. He batted 8,422 times from the left side with 2,328 hits, 612 home runs, 1,699 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .276. He was born on August 27, 1970 in Peoria, IL.
