Jim Kaat was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Jim was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 25 years playing in 1,004 games. Jim pitched left-handed in 898 games totalling 4,530 innings with 2,461 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.45. He batted 1,251 times from the left side with 232 hits, 16 home runs, 106 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .185. He was born on November 7, 1938 in Zeeland, MI. His nickname is "Kitty."
