Hugh Duffy was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945 as a Player by the Old Timers. Hugh was a Outfielder who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,737 games. He batted 7,044 times from the right side with 2,293 hits, 106 home runs, 1,302 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .326. He was born on November 26, 1866 in Cranston, RI. His nickname was "Sir Hugh." Hugh went to his Field of Dreams on October 19, 1954.
