William Henry Wright

Harry Wright was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953 as a Pioneer/Executive by the Veteran's Committee. Harry was a Centerfielder and Pitcher who played in the majors for 7 years playing in 180 games. Harry pitched right-handed in 36 games totalling 100 innings with 6 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.68. He batted 813 times from the right side with 224 hits, 4 home runs, 113 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .276. He was born on January 10, 1835 in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Harry went to his Field of Dreams on October 3, 1895.
