Harry Edwin Heilmann

Harry Heilmann was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1952 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 86.8 percent of the vote that year. Harry was a Rightfielder and First Baseman who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 2,147 games. He batted 7,787 times from the right side with 2,660 hits, 183 home runs, 1,540 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .342. He was born on August 3, 1894 in San Francisco, CA. His nickname was "Slug." Harry went to his Field of Dreams on July 9, 1951.
