Harmon Killebrew was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 83.1 percent of the vote that year. Harmon was a First Baseman, Third Baseman and Leftfielder who played in the majors for 22 years playing in 2,435 games. He batted 8,147 times from the right side with 2,086 hits, 573 home runs, 1,584 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .256. He was born on June 29, 1936 in Payette, ID. His nickname was "Killer." Harmon went to his Field of Dreams on May 17, 2011.
