Lewis Robert Wilson

Hack Wilson was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Hack was a Centerfielder who played in the majors for 12 years playing in 1,348 games for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. He batted 4,760 times from the right side with 1,461 hits, 244 home runs, 1,063 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .307. He was born on April 26, 1900 in Ellwood City, PA. Hack went to his Field of Dreams on November 23, 1948.
