George Clyde Kell

George Kell was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. George was a Third Baseman and First Baseman who played in the majors for 15 years playing in 1,795 games. He batted 6,702 times from the right side with 2,054 hits, 78 home runs, 870 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .306. He was born on August 23, 1922 in Swifton, AR. George went to his Field of Dreams on March 24, 2009.
