George Howard Brett

George Brett was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 98.2 percent of the vote that year. George was a Third Baseman and First Baseman who played in the majors for 21 years playing in 2,707 games for the Kansas City Royals. He batted 10,349 times from the left side with 3,154 hits, 317 home runs, 1,596 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .305. He was born on May 15, 1953 in Glen Dale, WV. His nickname is "Mullet."
