Gary Edmund Carter

Gary Carter was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 78.0 percent of the vote that year. Gary was a Catcher and Rightfielder who played in the majors for 19 years playing in 2,296 games. He batted 7,971 times from the right side with 2,092 hits, 324 home runs, 1,225 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .262. He was born on April 8, 1954 in Culver City, CA. His nickname was "Kid." Gary went to his Field of Dreams on February 16, 2012.
