Frank Edward Thomas
Frank Thomas was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 83.7 percent of the vote that year. Frank was a Designated Hitter and First Baseman who played in the majors for 19 years playing in 2,322 games. He batted 8,199 times from the right side with 2,468 hits, 521 home runs, 1,704 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .301. He was born on May 27, 1968 in Columbus, GA. His nickname is "Big Hurt."
