Don Sutton was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 81.6 percent of the vote that year. Don was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 23 years playing in 785 games. Don pitched right-handed in 774 games totalling 5,282 innings with 3,574 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.26. He batted 1,354 times from the right side with 195 hits, 0 home runs, 64 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .144. He was born on April 2, 1945 in Clio, AL. His nickname is "Black & Decker."
