Derek was a Shortstop who played in the majors for 20 years playing in 2,747 games for the New York Yankees. He batted 11,195 times from the right side with 3,465 hits, 260 home runs, 1,311 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .310. He was born on June 26, 1974 in Pequannock, NJ. His nickname is "Mr. November, The Captain or Captain Clutch."
