Derek Jeter was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 99.7 percent of the vote that year. Derek was a Shortstop who played in the majors for 20 years playing in 2,747 games for the New York Yankees. He batted 11,195 times from the right side with 3,465 hits, 260 home runs, 1,311 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .310. He was born on June 26, 1974 in Pequannock, NJ. His nickname is "Mr. November, The Captain or Captain Clutch."
