Ernie St. Gelais says...

I go to opening day at Fenway every year with my oldest son. It is always a fantastic experience. Since it is opening day, the Red Sox always do something special and this year it was honoring the 1975 Red Sox team on their 50th anniversary.

They picked Carl to throw out the first pitch. I grew up when Carl was "the Red Sox," so he is my baseball hero. He's an old man now (aren't we all) but it was great to see him on the diamond one last time.
