Calvin Edwin Ripken Jr.

Cal Ripken was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 98.5 percent of the vote that year. Cal was a Shortstop and Third Baseman who played in the majors for 21 years playing in 3,001 games for the Baltimore Orioles. He batted 11,551 times from the right side with 3,184 hits, 431 home runs, 1,695 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .276. He was born on August 24, 1960 in Havre de Grace, MD. His nickname is "Iron Man."
