Stanley Raymond Harris
Bucky Harris was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975 as a Manager by the Veteran's Committee. Bucky was a Second Baseman who played in the majors for 12 years playing in 1,263 games for the Detroit Tigers. He batted 4,736 times from the right side with 1,297 hits, 9 home runs, 508 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .274. He was born on November 8, 1896 in Port Jervis, NY. Bucky went to his Field of Dreams on November 8, 1977.
