Robert Granville Lemon
Bob Lemon was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 78.6 percent of the vote that year. Bob was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 15 years playing in 615 games for the Cleveland Indians. Bob pitched right-handed in 460 games totalling 2,850 innings with 1,277 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.23. He batted 1,183 times from the left side with 274 hits, 37 home runs, 147 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .232. He was born on September 22, 1920 in San Bernardino, CA. Bob went to his Field of Dreams on January 11, 2000.
