Bid McPhee was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Bid was a Second Baseman who played in the majors for 18 years playing in 2,138 games. He batted 8,304 times from the right side with 2,258 hits, 53 home runs, 1,072 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .272. He was born on November 1, 1859 in Massena, NY. Bid went to his Field of Dreams on January 3, 1943.
