Barry Larkin was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 86.4 percent of the vote that year. Barry was a Shortstop who played in the majors for 19 years playing in 2,180 games for the Cincinnati Reds. He batted 7,937 times from the right side with 2,340 hits, 198 home runs, 960 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .295. He was born on April 28, 1964 in Cincinnati, OH.
