Greg Maddux was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 as a Player by the BBWAA receiving 97.2 percent of the vote that year. Greg was a Pitcher who played in the majors for 23 years playing in 759 games. Greg pitched right-handed in 744 games totalling 5,008 innings with 3,371 strikeouts and recorded a career ERA of 3.16. He batted 1,591 times from the right side with 272 hits, 5 home runs, 84 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .171. He was born on April 14, 1966 in San Angelo, TX. His nickname is "Mad Dog or The Professor."
