The greatest home run hitter ever. That's how I'll remember him. I got a chance to see him play late in his career at Fenway for the Brewers. Jim Rice played left field that day, and Hank hit a ball to the warning track (probably 300 feet from home plate). Jim, who wasn't the greatest fielder, misplayed it and it dropped harmlessly onto the dirt. Hank easily made it to second for a double which I was sure was going to be an error, but no, it was a double. I still was relatively new to this game I came to love, and that was my first lesson that mental errors aren't considered errors in the boxscore. RIP Hank!
