Travis Calvin Jackson

Travis Jackson was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Travis was a Shortstop and Third Baseman who played in the majors for 15 years playing in 1,656 games for the New York Giants. He batted 6,086 times from the right side with 1,768 hits, 135 home runs, 929 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .291. He was born on November 2, 1903 in Waldo, AR. His nickname was "Stonewall." Travis went to his Field of Dreams on July 27, 1987.
