Frederick Charles Lindstrom

Freddie Lindstrom was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976 as a Player by the Veteran's Committee. Freddie was a Third Baseman and Outfielder who played in the majors for 13 years playing in 1,438 games. He batted 5,611 times from the right side with 1,747 hits, 103 home runs, 779 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .311. He was born on November 21, 1905 in Chicago, IL. His nickname was "Lindy." Freddie went to his Field of Dreams on October 4, 1981.
