Frank Leroy Chance

Frank Chance was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946 as a Player by the Old Timers. Frank was a First Baseman, Catcher and Rightfielder who played in the majors for 17 years playing in 1,288 games. He batted 4,299 times from the right side with 1,274 hits, 20 home runs, 596 RBIs, and recorded a career batting average of .296. He was born on September 9, 1876 in Fresno, CA. His nickname was "Husk or The Peerless Leader." Frank went to his Field of Dreams on September 15, 1924.
